Remembering the anthrax attacks following September 11

During the early Bush presidency, the anthrax attacks were used as one of Bush administration's scare tactics to bring the congress and the news media stations to their knees.

It worked.

Two Democratic Senators - Tom Daschle of South Dakota and Patrick Leahy of Vermont - were the targets of the anthrax letters and later the infamous Patriot Act (stripping civil liberties) was passed without any real discussion or dissension. NBC, ABC, CBS, and New York Post obviously toed the line of Bush administration policies after the anthrax threats.

Coincidences abound as to the access, motives and targets of the deadly weapon as revealed in Bio-terrorism -- anthrax attacks following September 11.

More importantly, the anthrax attacks which killed 5 postal workers and infected 17 others were never solved.

The biggest coincidence of them all, when Bush was to leave office, Dr. Bruce E. Ivins, a bio-weapons researcher who was working on solving the anthrax case died on Tuesday, July 29, 2008, reportedly by suicide just as the Department of Justice was about to charge him with the 2001 anthrax attacks.

In conclusion, the anthrax case has too many coincidences to say the least.
